Our goal and passion is to offer a unique experience in hospitality, urging travelers to live the ultimate vacation experience of an Airbnb apartment in Athens, which can accommodate up to 4 people. To that end, we offer a beautifully designed interior, first-rate amenities that will change the way you feel about vacation homes.

Our Story

The apartment is located at the center of Plaka which is the most famous historical area in Athens, also known as the neighborhood of the Gods. I was privileged to live in this apartment for many years before having my own family, enjoying this unique & charming neighborhood with lot of options to explore, close to all sights and monuments of the historical center of Athens.

In 2022, me and my husband decided to gradually renovate the apartment, combining the local architecture with modern aesthetics and convenience. By putting a lot of effort and with my personal touch, we have managed to create a warm place where all guests can feel like home.

The location is ideal – in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Metro & Public transportation. In short distance you may find plenty of monuments and museums, as well as restaurants with Greek cuisine, coffee shops but also the shopping center of Athens, with the famous shopping street of Ermou.

Sofia was an awesome host, she was right outside waiting for us on arrival, super friendly and gave us a rundown on the apartment. She was responsive to any questions we had about the place or Athens in general. The apartment itself was beautiful and super clean, I’ve never stayed in a place with so much attention to detail, bonus goodies here and there, and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, appliances etc. Both the bed and sofa bed were really comfortable. The neighborhood is really central and in walking distance of all the main sights in Central Athens, and beautifully quiet at night for winding down. Overall couldn’t fault this place at all, possibly the best apartment I’ve ever stayed in!

Ten stars aren’t enough for this perfect apartment in the Plaka neighborhood. Sofia is the finest host we’ve come across in years of traveling the world. She delivers with world class amenities and pristine cleanliness in the apartment. She took time to explain the city’s transportation options, interesting sites and places to go, and genuinely made us feel at home. The apartment is beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bathrobes, slippers, bath amenities, laundry soap, kitchen extras including Nespresso pods, bottled water, and more. Even better, she left us a huge bowl of fresh fruit to enjoy. Location couldn’t be better as you’re right in the middle of countless shops and cafes and, best of all, within 15 minutes’ walk to all of the major archaeological sites in Athens. Book this apartment now; staying here makes your visit to Athens all the better.

Booking to stay in Plaka Sofi Suites turned out to be a great decision for us. It is ideally located in the center of Athens with every amenity within walking distance, historical sites, shopping, and coach pick up for sight-seeing and of course there are some of the best taverns just round the corner. It is so conveniently located that we could even return for a short afternoon siesta. And although located in the center, it is in a very quiet, safe and clean street. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean, fresh, tastefully decorated and offered every facility one can think of. Sofia is an extremely thoughtful and caring host. She arranged an airport pick up at a short notice when booking.com failed to do so. She also helped arrange a few sight-seeing tours for us and was available through the duration of our stay for advice and support. We would highly recommend and would ourselves return in the future.

The location of the apartment was so central, easily accessible, in a quiet and safe neighborhood and in walking distance of all attractions, local bars, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was beautiful, cozy, nice decorated and had all the necessary amenities and maintained to high standard of cleanliness. Sofia is a great and friendly host. She was very helpful and available any time to give as any recommendations or information about the area. If I come back to Athens, I’ll definitely try to book this accommodation again.

Die Unterkunft war so gemütlich. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Wir wurden herzlich von Sofias Mann empfangen und im Kühlschrank hat uns Wasser und frische Erdbeeren erwartet. Sofia hat stets zügig geantwortet und all ihre Empfehlungen haben unseren Urlaub versüßt. Auch der Abschied durch Sofia war freundlich und herzlich. Eine Unterkunft, die wir unseren Freund*innen weiterempfehlen werden. Schön war’s.

Beautiful accommodation in an excellent location. Sofia met us at the apartment after arranging a taxi for us at the airport. She showed us how everything worked and made some recommendations for things to do. Overall this is a beautiful apartment. It’s stylish and spacious with everything you could possibly need plus with a few more things thrown in. The bed was very comfortable and there was a great shower. The welcoming fruit was very thoughtful too. The area is brilliant and we got around all the things we wanted to see in Athens on foot. There are lots of restaurants around serving delicious food and plenty of shops too. At the end of the stay Sofia met us with a parting gift which was very thoughtful of her. This is an excellent accommodation and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in this lovely city.

Excepcional! Ubicación genial en una calle tranquila del centro de Plaka. Apartamento extremadamente limpio y cómodo, con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días, incluso aceite para cocinar, sal, azúcar, cápsulas de café, infusiones, pasta… La anfitriona, Sofi, es excepcional, servicial y pendiente del bienestar de los huéspedes, se esfuerza por complacer y que la estancia sea lo más agradable posible. Nos dejó agua, un cesto lleno de frutas, incluso una botella de limoncelo en la nevera. A la salida nos obsequió con productos griegos típicos. Totalmente recomendable, volveríamos a repetir sin dudarlo.

Mieszkanie w bardzo dobrym standardzie, w bardzo fajnej okolicy bezpiecznej cichej, blisko do zabytków sklepów restauracji. W apartamencie jest naprawdę wszystko co potrzeba nawet I więcej. Kontakt z Panią Sofią bardzo dobry. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni i napewno jeszcze wrócimy.

Eine liebevoll, komplett eingerichtete Wohnung. Haben uns hier drei Tage super wohlgefühlt. Auch hat uns Sofia mit frischen Früchten empfangen. Ebenso fanden wir auch Kaffee, Tee und Wasser bei unserer Abreise vor.

Tout était parfait, un grand merci à Sofia et son mari pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et toutes les attentions délicates, Sofia a pensé à tout pour faciliter le séjour. Il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut dans l’appartement pour se sentir comme chez soi, il est vaste, très calme et très confortable à deux pas du magnifique quartier historique d’Athènes. Très propre et bien organisé, pour passer un bon séjour. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter et nous le recommandons à 100%.

Situé dans un environnement calme dans Plaka, l’appartement de Sofia est superbe, très propre, très fonctionnel où tout peut se faire à pied (Acropole, musée de l’Acropole, colline de Philopappou, stade panathenaique, temple de Zeus et porte d’Hadrien, temple d’Hephaistos, Agora, métro…). La colline du Lycabette et la statue du coureur se font facilement en métro de la place Syntagma. Sofia, très gentille, a été à l’écoute tout au long de notre séjour en étant force de proposition et en nous accueillant même avec une corbeille de fruits. Si vous souhaitez vous rendre au cap sounion, plutôt que d’aller jusqu’au terminal Mavromateo, vous pouvez prendre le bus dédié rue Makrygiani situé à même pas 10 minutes de l’appartement de Sofia. Si vous voulez passer un agréable séjour dans un très bel appartement situé à proximité des principaux sites, n’hésitez pas une seconde!

Great apartment, great location – you will not regret
The apartment is amazing, even better than in the pictures. It has everything you need (and I mean everything!). It is clean, the location is perfect for visiting all the attractions and also great value for money. Sofia was super friendly and accommodating, we got an early check-in last minute because of a ferry strike, and she drove earlier on a demonstration day in Athens to greet us! I would definitely recommend and book again on my next trip! Thanks a lot, Sofia!

Wonderful Stay
The location was perfectly situated just steps away from the bustling Plaka market. The room was quiet despite being so close. The apartment was clean and inviting. Sofia made sure there were lovely little touches (like coffee and fruit) available for us to ensure a comfortable stay. Loved staying here and would stay again if we return. Cannot recommend enough!
